Friday Product Spotlight - Family Traditions

From mid-October until the end of December our lives are pretty hectic.  We decorate for each holiday, plan for parties & big family meals, shop for the perfect gifts, and juggle full calendars.  It really is my favorite time of year.  Not just because I enjoy always having something to do, but because just being together and celebrating life with family and friends is so precious.

Relationships are such an amazing gift!  Memories of good times together, laughter shared between friends, and beloved traditions bring so much fullness to our lives.  I hope this year we can each embrace the old traditions we share and introduce some new ones.  So many of my favorite memories are from this time of year!

The holidays will be a little different for our family this year as I know it will for so many others. When we lose someone or our families go through change, the holidays can bring sadness.  Even though we will miss those who can't physically sit at the table with us, I am resolved even more this year to cherish the time with the ones who can.

This year I am so excited to start a new tradition in our family!  We found this great product at market this summer that I cannot wait to use.  It is an 16x20 painted canvas that comes with a permanent marker.  Each year everyone at your Thanksgiving celebration can write their name or what they are thankful for on a leaf.  What a beautiful piece of art!

I am confident this unique piece will quickly become a family treasure.  The colors are rich and timeless and will look great with any holiday decor.  I think we will put ours on an easel in the living room for everyone to sign.  Where will you put yours?

Welcome Home,

Rachel

P.S. We have had a few weeks away from the craft show circuit to prepare for this busy holiday season, but we are ready to hit the road again!  Mark your calendars for next Saturday, Oct 24!  We will be at Mt Juliet Christian Academy's Shopping Extravaganza featuring many of our Thanksgiving items and bringing out our first samples of Christmas decor!  Stay tuned to the blog this week as we offer sneak peeks of the newest wreath designs.  I'm looking forward to seeing you at an upcoming event.  Be sure to check the calendar tab for more details and to find an event near you!
