Our Wishes For You

Every Christmas season we share our Twelve Wishes for you, our sweet customers.  As I'm writing this blog, Kelly Clarkson is playing in the background "My Grown Up Christmas List!" How funny is that?!  The lyrics say "no more lives torn apart, then wars would never start, and time would heal all hearts. And everyone would have a friend, and right would always win, and love would never end. This is my grown-up Christmas list."

As we kick off our annual holiday wishes this year, I wonder what would be on your grown up Christmas list. Sleep? I know my son and daughter-in-law could use some of that with a new baby; and Rachel could use a LOT of sleep after decorating trees for over a month! Maybe your wish would be a personal shopper! That actually sounds pretty good! We can help you with that one! Or perhaps it's just a moment of peace and solitude.

In the busyness of this holiday season, my wish is to slow down and breathe in peace. I love taking the time to sit in silence, read my advent devotional, and look at the Christmas tree--I just don't do it often enough! Peace is hard to find in this crazy world, especially during the holidays. It makes me thankful for Jesus and the true peace He has given me. He's called the Prince of Peace for a reason! Even when things are crazy in my life, He is the anchor the holds me together.

As we send our holiday wishes over the next 12 days on social media, my greatest wish would be for you to know the same Peace that we know. Stop by for a smile, a hug, a Christmas carol (I'll sing to you!) and a chat, if you need one! Jesus is the reason we celebrate this season!

Peace is here. His Name is Jesus.
